Mission

Oswego Going Global, a group created by the faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of SUNY Oswego, is committed to create a community of people invested in developing a new generation of scientifically and internationally skilled problem solvers, empowered to meet the challenges before us through intellectual curiosity, knowledge exchange, skill development and international awareness. The group aims to promote the aforementioned global learning opportunities beyond the confines of the classroom and to support students that may not have access otherwise.

Oswego Going Global is committed to:

• Development of scholarship funds to support student participation in research, internship, and service learning opportunities provided by SUNY Oswego’s international programs.

• Implementation of educational events and challenging experiences to promote international awareness, empower students to advance beyond their comfort zone and to develop a sense of community through participation in global responsibilities.
